The best I have ever had! The shrimp are tender and cooked perfectly. The grits is creamy and dreamy! I travel to Charleston every few years and Poogan's is always on the must do list!!!

Poogan's Famous Bone-In Fried Chicken
The fried chicken was everything I hoped it would be and more. The breading was crispy and perfectly seasoned. The chicken was cooked perfectly. The collard greens were delicious and cooked as collards should be. I will definitely be back to try this again!
Daily Fresh Catch
I initially came to Poogan's Porch because they were on a list of best restaurants for pecan pie. I ordered the daily fresh catch that was red snapper with green beans and it was amazing. The atmosphere is great, and I quickly learned why you need a reservation for the restaurant, and I was alone so I sat at the bar. Staff was great, food was amazing and the pecan pie was the best I had ever had.
